Automatically updating software
(auto update)
You can automatically download new
software, which will overwrite the old
software at a time you set beforehand.

The auto update setting is set to "Automatic
Update" by default.
⿟
Once the FOMA terminal becomes ready to
overwrite the old software, (Software
update is available) appears in the status bar,
and after checking the overwrite time, you
can select to change the overwrite time,
immediately overwrite, etc.

When the overwrite time arrives while
(Software update is available) is displayed, the
old software is automatically overwritten, and
(Software update is available) is no longer
displayed.

At times such as when there is insufficient
battery level or you are in a call when the
overwrite time arrives, the software update
does not start, and instead starts at the same
time on the next day.
⿟
Software cannot automatically update when
the automatic update setting is "Manual
Update", during data communication for an
immediate software update, etc.
