Connecting to a PC
Connecting the FOMA terminal and
a PC
Connect the FOMA terminal and a PC with
the microUSB cable for PC connection
(sample).
When you plug in/unplug the microUSB cable
for PC connection from the PC, hold the USB
plug horizontally.

NOTE
Connect the USB plug of the microUSB cable for
PC connection directly to the USB port of the PC.
If the cable is connected via a USB hub or USB
extension cable, a malfunction may occur.
Do not unplug the microUSB cable for PC
connection while data is being transferred.
The data may be destroyed.
Using data on a microSD card
When you connect your FOMA terminal to a
PC or other device by using the microUSB
cable for PC connection (sample), you can
read and write data on a microSD card from
the PC.

Using PC Link
You can connect your FOMA terminal and
a PC via a Wi-Fi connection, USB PC Link,
etc., to access files on your terminal from
your PC using dedicated software or a
dedicated browser.
Use dedicated software to do the
following.
•Transfer PC files to a microSD card in your
FOMA terminal
•Import/export contacts, email, or
bookmarks from/to your FOMA terminal
•Open a specified web site with your
FOMA terminal
•Search an application with your FOMA
terminal
