DVR Quick Guide

• If the video is free with a subscription and you are a subscriber, you’ll have the option to

start watching it immediately. Select ‘Watch Now’ to start the video. If you’re not a

subscriber, you'll see information about how to subscribe.

You can control Mediacom On Demand videos in much the same way that you control your

TiVo recordings.

• Pausing. Press PAUSE on the your remote. To resume playing, press PLAY on your remote.

• Rewinding. Press REWIND on your remote control. When you are ready to watch, press

PLAY.

• Fast Forwarding. Press FAST FORWARD on your remote control. When you are ready to

watch, press PLAY. (NOTE: Some videos from the Mediacom On Demand library will not

allow you to fast-forward.)

• Stopping the video. Once you’ve started watching your video, you can stop it at any time by

pressing the LEFT arrow on your remote control. Partially watched videos are stored in the

My Rentals folder.

• Getting info. While watching a video, press the INFO button on your remote control to see an

information banner.

Partially and completely viewed on-demand videos are saved in the My Rentals folder as long

as they are available on Mediacom On Demand and within the rental period.

To restart a video:

1. From the main Mediacom On Demand page, select the My Rentals folder.

2. Select the video you want to watch.
