Helpful Hints
Note: In case you are not capable of filling your MedCenter
System yourself, always have your Care Provider or Pharmacist
assist you in filling your MedCenter System or setting your
MedCenter Clock according to your Doctor or Health Care
Provider’s Instructions each month.
SETTING UP THE MEDCENTER SYSTEM:
• Remove each individual Pill Cassette (dated “1”
to “31”) and lay them out with lids open in
numerical order.
• Follow each pill’s prescribed instructions
and place each pill into the proper compartment for each day.
• The Pill Cassettes should be inserted into the MedCenter with the
green end up denoting they are loaded and ready.
• Pull the plastic tab on the back of the MedCenter Clock to connect
the batteries and activate the clock. Set the necessary alarms
(see SETTING THE ALARMS) and place Clock in the cavity on the
left side of the MedCenter Stand per the Photo to the right.
• The Pill Cassette lids feature a “Safety Catch” to prevent the pills
from accidentally falling out when the Pill Cassettes are transported
and/or stored upright in the Organizer. To open and disengage the
“Safety Catch”, a small arrow is molded into the lids directing you to
(1) push back and then (2) lift up. The front edge of the Pill
Cassette lid is curved and textured as well to assist
in this motion. By design, the Pill Cassettes
only require a minimal amount of effort to
open when using this method making them
very easy to open yet secure, with all of our
users at varying stages of health, in mind.
