STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Contact local
authorities. Extinguish and do not turn on any ignition source until area is determined to be free from explosion or
fire hazards. Collect large spills for disposal. Soak up with sawdust, sand, oil dry, or other absorbent material.
WASTE DISPOSAL: Incineration in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

SECTION VIII — SAFE HANDLING AND USE INFORMATION

RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: Use an appropriate NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator
following manufacturer's recommendations.
VENTILATION: General (mechanical) room ventilation to maintain vapor levels
below TLV is expected to be satisfactory. Special, local ventilation is
needed at points where vapors or mists are expected to escape to the workplace air.
PROTECTIVE GLOVES: Consult the glove manufacturer for the most appropriate glove
Material.
EYE PROTECTION: Chemical safety goggles.
OTHER PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT: Eye bath and safety shower. Wear protective
clothing to prevent repeated or prolonged contact.

SECTION IX — SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING: WARNING! Causes eye and skin irritation.
Combustible: Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and clothing. Avoid breathing vapor or mist. Use with adequate
ventilation. Keep away from heat and flame. Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container closed. Avoid
prolonged or repeated contact with skin. Store in cool, dry, ventilated area. Equipment and containers should
be bonded and grounded when transferring or using material. Empty containers should not be exposed to fire,
sparks, or flame, as residual vapors may be explosive. Since emptied packages retain product residue, follow
label warnings even after package is emptied.
OTHER PRECAUTIONS: This product has a low solubility in water and will float on the surface. Large spills should
not be allowed to drain into natural waterways. Store materials wetted with this product (e.g. rags, paper,
insulation, clay, etc.) in approved safety container designed for that purpose. Dispose of as quickly as possible.
Contact lenses should not be worn.
