MECHA User’s Guide v.05.4 ! Dual Axis
© 2020 FANOTEC
As for the previous row, things goes the same for another 11 photos, and at
the 12th photo MECHA-V has to rotate at -=0°, which is the posi!on for
nadir, so we have to add
12=-90, and the script becomes:
S=90, 1=0_0, =_30, 11=45, 12=-45, 12=-90,
Finally, we only need a posi!on for the zenith photo, at 0° from the nadir,
for MECHA-H. So we have to add
=90_0, _0 is to tell that the previous
posi!on and the next posi!on are 0° apart.
So, now the script is:
S=90, 1=0_0, =_30, 11=45, 12=-45, 12=-90,
=90_0,
To complete the script, now we can add an equal sign =, which in other
cases can be omi"ed. Now, our %nal script is:
S=90, 1=0_0, =_30, 11=45, 12=-45, 12=-90,
=90_0, =
which you can see in the above image, as well.
Xust a side note. The script allows to have some pieces of the code in a loop,
and much less code to enter, especially in the case of gigapixel panoramas.
This feature will be exempli%ed later.
Before launching the panorama, enter 38 in the number of shots %eld, via
custom op!on, then click/tap on either [RIGHT] or [LEFT] bu"ons.
We(ll explain in another example how to tell MECHA to wait, or to take extra
shots, on a par!cular orienta!on, so on.
EXAMPLE 3
Same as example 1, but for 8 shots around on each row instead of 12.
S=90, 1=0_0, =_30, 11=45, =_45, 7=-45, 8=-90,
=90_0, =
Before launching the panorama, enter 26 in the number of shots %eld, via
custom op!on, then click on either [RIGHT] or [LEFT] bu"ons.
