6.2 Using RS23 2 for Communication wi th RKP-CMU 1
6.3 Descr iption of RKP-CMU1 Monitoring Sof tware
The RKP-CMU1 not only can use USB interface for PC connection , but a lso can use the RS-232 interface. There is a RS-232
1.In terface cable is connected between your PC and the RKP-CMU 1.
2.The RKP-CMU1 is powered on and ready.
3.Verify y our interface settings are correct. Refer to the LCD user interface (se ction 4.4.6)
6.3.1 Comm. Setup Page
Once this software is running, t here are some settings th at must be d one be fore a ccessing the RKP- CMU1 .
Step 1: COM Port Setting
1.Sel ect the corre ct port for yo ur interface c able.
2.Sel ect a proper baud r ate for data t ransmission . (Maximum: 115.2 k).
◎Before running the monito ring software , please make sure the following arrangement is done correctly.
port (Male) on the rear of the RKP-CMU1, you can use a DB9 Female - DB9 Female cab le for connection between the RKP-CMU1
and your PC. Pi n description shows as below.
Step 2: Address Se tting
Select the co rrect addres s for the RKP-CMU1. Refer to th e LCD user interface, Section 4 .4.9: RKP-CMU1 Addess
setting(Default:1).
