Not used.
Data transmitting pin of the Ethe rnet interface.
Normal-open contact of program mable rela y.
Po sitive input voltage for RKP-C MU1.
Negative input voltage for RKP-CMU1.
The isolated digital input signal and referenced to GN D-FG (pin2, 4, 6, 8).
Open from GND-FG or +5V : Log ic "1" input to RKP-CMU1
sh ort to GND -FG or 0V : Logic "0 " input to RKP-CMU1
Data receivi ng pin of RS-232 inte rface.
Data receivi ng pin of th e Etherne t interface.
Normal-close contact of program mable relay.
Common GND for D-IN. This signal connec ts to FG and isolated from -V and GND-A UX.
Data transmitting pin of RS-232 interface.
Not used.
Common for NO/NC contact.
RS-232 com mon GND . This sign al connects to FG an d isolated from -V and GND-A UX.
3.Functions
3.1 RCP-2000 monitoring functions
A s a po wer m anage ment device , the R KP-C MU1 is capa ble of monitoring 32 uni ts of R CP-20 00 in the sa me tim e. It n ot only
can rea d the operating pa rameters or data (s uch as output voltage, output cu rrent, internal tem peratu re, wo rking s tatus, series
number, and firmwar e vers ion) fro m the units, but als o can be used to adjust the values of bus voltage and PSU current. In addition,
it can re motel y turn the RCP-2000 units on/off by the command of "PMBus OPERATION" (pin6,7 JK1).
It is als o poss ible t o remo tely control the RC P-20 00 units with out u sing th e RKP-CMU 1 by c onnec ting the phy sical pins of
" PMBus CONTROL " (pin4 JK1) or "RKP-1U ON/OF F" (pin1,7 CN500) to +5V-AUX. Pleas e refer to Table 3-1 .
N ote: If the p urchas ed un it is a r ack or whole system unit, the RKP-C MU1 i s inter nally c onnec ted wi th JK1 (inclu ding p in 4 o f
" PMBu s CON TROL " and p in 6,7 of "PM Bus O PERATION "), which me ans it can di rectly remote -cont rol the RCP- 2000 u nits in
the rack. So, when y ou are using the un it as a power mana gement devi ce to m onitor your s ystem , the pins of CN500 for "RKP-1U
O N/OF F" must be o pened from +5V-AUX to a void in terfer ing in RKP-C MU1's prope r operation.

3.2 LED Indicators and LCD User Interface
There are LED indicators on the front panel of the RKP-CMU1 that are used to display system operating status. Refer to Table 3-2 for details.
