Each RCP-2000 unit should have their unique and ow n device add ress to communicate ove r the PMbus . 7-bit address
setting pins are used to assign a device address for a RCP-20 00 unit, as the des cription shows belo w .
A0~A4, five of the bits, can be set vi a a 5-p ole D IP switch on the re ar panel of a rack u nit. Th e "ON" posi tion re prese nts
logic "0" while the "OFF" position represents logic "1".
There are 32 different a ddresses available to be assigned by the DIP switch. The switch settings show as below.

The RKP-CMU1 is equipped with all the PMBu s commands that RCP-2000 nee ds. This makes it ea sy for users to monitor, manage,
and con trol their RCP-2000 pow er systems by means of the LCD user interface or the Windows based user in terface. Moreover,
the unit is compliant with PMBus Rev. 1.1 (the maxi mum communication spe ed is 1 00 KHz) and has the capability of iden tifying
up to 32 addre ssed units.
