5. When the hearing aid is in its correct position, turn it on and adjust the volume.
To avoid whistling or “feedback”, make sure the eardome ts securely in the
ear canal. Try the different sized domes to see which ts best. With a secure
t, there will not be whistling (you can see this by covering the eardome
opening with your nger and the whistling should cease).
If whistling is still heard, see the Troubleshooting section, page 24.
Each person is different so try all 6 domes to
see which ts and sounds best to you.
Ensure the “mushroom” portion of the
dome points INTO THE EAR CANAL.
Correct Final Position
Once the hearing aid is tted correctly, it will
sit on your ear as in the picture.
NOTICE the earhook
rests on the FRONT
and TOP of the ear.
