WARNING

This equipment has exposed electrical connections inside BACnet Communication Module.
Only personnel that are knowledgeable in the operation of this equipment must perform
connections and service to the BACnet Communication Module.
To Change the MS/TP Data Transmission Rate:
1. Remove power from the BACnet Communication Module.
2. Remove the four screws that secure to cover to the BACnet Communication Module and lift the
cover.
3. Locate the MS/TP data transmission rate switch mounted on top of the isolation module. Figure
8 shows the inside of the BACnet Communication Module when the cover is removed.
Note: The default position for this switch is in the High (H) (38400 bps) position.
4. Carefully (without touching the connections on the transformer or any other wires) slide the
switch to the position you want. Use a non-conductive tool.
5. Replace the cover and the four screws that secure the cover.
6. Restore power to the BACnet Communication Module.
Note: The Isolator Module may have jumpers to select the baud rate instead of the switch as
shown below. See the silk screen next to the jumpers for properly setting these jumpers.
