can be cleared by clicking the output LED itself. Note the output LED will remain on once a clip occurs, until its cleared
with a mouse click.
Control Linking
As of release 1.0, Chrome Tone does not offer any control linking capabilities.
The Meters
The Chrome Tone plug-In has peak metering for the output signal of the Wah, Tremolo, Chorus, and Amp plug-ins. The
Stack congurations have a peak LED at the output of each stage.
Automation
All Chrome Tone controls are completely automatable. See the Digidesign™ Pro Tools™ Reference Guide, Automating
plug-ins section.
Presets: Using the Presets and Making Your Own
The Chrome Tone presets are inspired the pursuit of the ultimate guitar tone. Many of these presets are named for
the style of guitar playing or amplication they represent. A variety of other presets are named for their application
(‘vocal’, ‘drums’, ‘guitar’). The presets can be accessed from the Pro Tools™ “plug-in Librarian” and “plug-in Settings”
pop-up menus.
To make and save your own presets, see the “plug-in Librarian Functions” section of Digidesign™‘s DigiRack plug-ins
Guide.
A Word on Preset Compatibility
Presets for the Amp, Wah, Tremolo, Chorus, and Stack congurations of the Chrome Tone plug-In ARE interchangeable
as of version 1.3. To make older preset interchangeable, simply re-save them using Chrome Tone version 1.3 or later.
Do note Amp presets are still not compatible with Wah, Trem, and Chorus congurations, as these congurations have
few common controls.
Amp, Trem, Wah, or Chorus presets imported into a Stack conguration will only affect the Amp, Trem, Wah, or Chorus
sections of the Stack
