BRACKET HOLDER DESCRIPTION
USB PORT
Type B USB connector. USB client to host cable supplied
SERIAL (DB9 male connector on separate bracket)
Data transfer to computer:,
Null modem cable supplied (DB9F to DB9F)
Serial port selectable from 1200 to 115200 Bauds 8 bit, 1
stop bit.
Default: 115 200 bauds
Pin 2 = transmit
Pin 3= receive
Pin 5 = ground
WARNING: INSURE SERIAL PRINTER AND SERIAL
CONNECTION TO PC ARE NOT INVERTED.

Supplied battery connector red = + black = -

LINE 1, LINE 2
Incoming phone lines. Line 1 is at bottom when looking
at RJ11 ports.
RESET
Restarts all functions, reboots to last configuration
entered.
Pressing the reset button does not rease the content of
the memory.
USB PORTS - High retention
Ed is equipped with special USB connector for output. This connectors is a Samtec USBR
high retention force made to comply with the class 1, Div II minimum withdrawal requirement of 15 Newton. It is normal to feel the
USB connector is either hard to insert or remove.
Ed USB port is not designed for frequent removal or insertion. By nature they should stay connected and rarely disconnected.
It is orange color-coded insulator to differentiate them from standard withdrawal force connectors (USB Series) that are available
with white or black plastic. It is compatible with standard USB connector
