Using STM Mobile Web Viewer to view Ed events on the web
To view Ed
events on the web, it is possible to use STM a SECURITHOR component without
having to purchase a full license of SECURITHOR. Inquire about purchasing STM to
MCDI's SECURITHOR sales staff at securithor@mcdi.com
STM is a SECURITHOR component made to upload key status of SECURITHOR over
the internet. It is possible to use is in combination with STreceiver to view traffic on
connected PC and on the web. While it needs SECURITHOR to install all database
resources at first, it is not required to operate SECURITHOR to use STM. MCDI sells
STM separately from SECURITHOR. It is also possible to add STM to an existing
SECURITHOR to view alarm events online.
STM was made to display an interface compatible
with iPhone 3, 3G, 3GS, 4, 4GS, most Android
phones and some Symbian or Linux based phone.
The interface also adapts to web browsers at 960
pixels width. The web interface requires compliance
with CSS3 and WebKit. It was tested with recent
Camino, Chrome, Firefox, Mercury and Safari
browsers using browser, iphone, ipad, and various
Android devices (dec. 2011).
Space on web server is required as well as ftp access from computer hosting STreceiver
and STnet.exe to the web server. MCDI can help in providing web space if none is available
to you.
STM requiring STreceiver component, log files can be created on connected PC as well. A
traffic display is also available from STreceiver.
It is possible to use STM while using non MCDI monitoring software if one of two ports of D4
is dedicated to STM. Secondary port should be used for this purpose.

This feature is not included in Ed. It can be purchased from MCDI as a stand along product or added to SECURITHOR ST1.

Using STreceiver without using SECURITHOR (creating Log files only)
It is possible to use STreceiver without SECURITHOR in order to use Log files only. However, SECURITHOR must be installed at first. This
option is not supporte out of a SECURITHOR purchase or SECURITHOR support contract.

By opening only STreceiver, log files will be created and continuously updated without having to use SECURITHOR. STreceiver is
independent from SECURITHOR and therefore doesn't need unlocking beyond SECURITHOR's trial period.
LOG FOLDER
Upon installation, STreceiver creates folder 'Logs' in the MCDI>STreceiver folder
Sub folders are created per month and year. Files for day and receivers.

HH:MM:SS.milliseconds [tab] Alarm [DC4]
Alarm event includes Caller ID when part of the event.
CR is changed for DC4 in Sur-Gard Mode
This feature is not supported out of support contract or current SECURITHOR warranty period. It is distributed as shareware without
warranty of fitness.
