Obtaining Log Information
The SAN management application, Element Manager application,
and EFCM Basic Edition interface provide access to logs with
information for administration, operation, and maintenance
personnel.
• Logs accessed through the SAN management application
(SANavigator or EFCM). Fabric-log information:
—EventLog.
—FabricLog.
— Product Status Log.
• Logs accessed through the Element Manager application.
Director-log information.
—EventLog.
—HardwareLog.
— Link Incident Log.
— Port Threshold Alert Log.
—OpenTrunkingLog.
— Embedded Port Log.
—SwitchFabricLog.
• Logs accessed through the EFCM Basic Edition interface:
—EventLog.
— Link Incident Log.
—OpenTrunkingRe-RouteLog.
—FabricLog.
— Embedded Port Frame Log.
SAN Management Logs
The SAN management application provides access to logs that
contain fabric-level maintenance information. At the application
main window, select the Logs option from the Monitor menu, then
click (select) the desired log option.
