Turn on your systems
The Power On feature allows your Intel

AMT systems to deploy the updated security programs ahead
of a potential threat outbreak.
Before you begin
• Correct Intel
®
AMT credentials must be set, and a trusted root certificate must be
uploaded in the Server Settings page.
• The Intel
®
AMT systems must be configured.
• A power cable must be connected to the Intel
®
AMT systems, including laptops.
Task
For option definitions, click ? in the interface.

In the McAfee ePO console, click Menu | Systems | System Tree.

Select the required systems or groups that you want to turn on.

Click Actions | AMT Actions | Power On, then click OK.

View the policy enforcement status in Server Task Log.
