5. SpeakintothemicrophoneconnectedtoinputjackMIC / Line 1 IN(20),andturnthecontroldial
GAIN(16)totheright,untiltheLEDindicatorPEAK(13)beginstolightupbrieyduringtheloudest
spokenpassages.
6. ChoosethesignalsourcewiththeLINE / USBkey(17).Inkeyposition
,thesignalisreceivedviathe
USBinput.Inkeyposition ,thecinchjacksLINE IN 2/3deliverthesignalfeed.
7. DetermineoutputwiththeTOMONITOR/TOMAINkeys(4,6).
8. TurnthecontroldialMAIN MIX(10)clockwisetotheapproximatemiddleposition.
IftheLEDindicatorCLIP(9)shouldlightupatanytime,turnthecontroldialMAIN MIX
(10)back.
9. UsethecontroldialMONITOR(8)toadjusttheheadphonevolume.
10.The control dials LEVEL (11, 12) allow you to mix the different input signals. To do this, turn the
appropriatecontroldialLEVELclockwiseuntilthedesiredlevelisreached.
11.Ifrequired,increaseordecreasetheoutputlevelofthemixerwiththecontroldialMAIN MIX(10).
Keep an eye on the LED indicators (9, 13). If the signal level is too high (LED illuminates),
reduce the signal level.
12.Ifnecessaryadjusttheleft/rightpositionofeachchannelinthestereoeldbymovingthePANandBAL
slider(14).
13.Toturnoffthemixer,turnthecontroldialLEVEL(11,12)andthecontroldialMAIN MIX(10)alltheway
totheleft.
14.Thenswitchoffanycoupledampliersrst,andafterthatthemixerandtheaudiosources.
Coupled ampliers should always be the last to be turned on and the rst to be turned
off. This prevents damage to the speakers or the amplier caused by noise interference
when switching off the mixer.
Connecting devices via Bluetooth®
1. Aftertheunitisturnedon,themixergoestostandbymode,theLEDindicator (5)ashestwiceevery
twoseconds.
2. PressandholdthePAIR(7)keyapprox.3secondstoputthemixerinsearchmode.TheLED
indicator
(5)flashes.Inthismode,youcanconnectBluetooth®-devicessuchasaBluetooth®-
mobilephoneoracomputer.Inputthepassword0000ifyouareconnectingaBluetooth®device
withaversionlowerthanBT2.1.RefertothemanualoftheplayerregardingBluetooth®functions.
3. AssoonastheBluetooth®deviceisconnected,theLEDindicator
(5)willstaylit.
- IftheconnectedBluetooth®deviceiswithinrange(max.10ms)andisturnedon,itwillndthemixer
automatically,connecttheBluetooth®devicewithin60secondsorswitchtostandbymode;
- Iftheactivated,connectedBluetooth®deviceisturnedoff,themixerwillautomaticallygointostandby
mode;
- To disconnectaBluetooth®devicefrom the mixer,pressandhold thePAIRkey(7)for approx.3
seconds.ThedeviceisdisconnectedandthemixerreturnstoBluetooth®searchmode.
Maintenance and cleaning
• Beforecleaning,disconnectthemixerfromthepowersupply.Noneofthecomponentsinsidetheunitare
tobeservicedbythecustomer.Neveropenordisassembletheunit.
• Checktheunitregularlyfortechnicalsafety,forinstanceadamagedUSBcable,USBadapterormixer
housing.
• Donotuseanyaggressivecleaningagents,rubbingalcoholorotherchemicalsolutionsastheycancause
damagetothehousingandmalfunctioning.
• Regularlyuseadry,lintfreeclothtoremovedustfromthemixer.
Disposal
Electronicdevicesarerecyclablewasteandmustnotbedisposedofinthehouseholdwaste.
