12. Elimination
a) Généralités
Les appareils électriques et électroniques ne doivent pas être jetés dans les ordures ménagères !
Il convient de procéder à l’élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de vie conformément aux
prescriptions légales en vigueur.
b) Piles et accumulateurs
Le consommateur final est légalement tenu (ordonnance relative à l´élimination des piles usagées) de
rapporter toutes les piles et accumulateurs usés, il est interdit de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères !
Les piles et accumulateurs qui contiennent des substances toxiques sont caractérisés par les symboles
ci-contre, qui indiquent l'interdiction de les jeter dans les ordures ménagères.
Les désignations pour le métal lourd décisif sont : Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercure, Pb=Plomb (la désignation
est inscrite sur la pile/l'accu, par ex. en dessous des symboles de poubelle inscrits à gauche).
Vous pouvez rapporter gratuitement vos piles et accus usagés aux centres de récupération de votre
commune, à nos succursales ou à tous les points de vente de piles et d'accumulateurs.
Vous répondez ainsi aux ordonnances légales et contribuez à la protection de l’environnement !

Then carefully disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. Do not use the product any longer.
Please take it to a specialist workshop or consult a specialised technician!
• Do not expose the device to high/low temperatures, dampness, dripping or splashing water, strong
vibrations or high mechanic stress.
• Do not place open sources of fire such as burning candles alongside the appliance.
• Do not operate the light when it is unattended.
• Only use the appliance in a moderate climate, and avoid a tropical environment.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around carelessly since this may become a dangerous toy
for children.
• Never connect the charger to the mains voltage immediately after taking it from a cold room into a
warm room.
Wait until the product has reached room temperature, before using the product or connecting the
power adapter to the mains; this may take several hours. Otherwise danger to life through an electric
shock!
• On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of the industrial workers'
society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
• In schools, training facilities, hobby and self-help-workshops, the operation of electric appliances is to
be supervising by trained personnel.
• Please handle the product carefully. The product is damaged when crushed, hit or dropped, even
from a small height.
• If you have reasons to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, take the device out of operation
immediately (separate the power pack unit from the mains voltage) and secure it against inadvertent
operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- there is visible damage to the device (e.g. the power cable) or to the power unit,
- the appliance ceases to function
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- if it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• A defective connecting cable may only be replaced by a specialist.
