Intended use1.
This electronic scrolling message sign is a brilliant eye-catcher for all situations. You can create
your own custom scrolling sign with this device. It can be used to create instant advertisements,
announce upcoming events or display store information. This device is preprogrammed with
23 messages and you can store 11 of personal messages. The power adapter should only be
connected to a 100 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz wall socket.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you
use the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition,improperusecancausehazardssuchasshortcircuiting,re,electricshocketc.Read
the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only together
with its operating instructions.

Do not use the device if the power cable is damaged.•
Do not cover the ventilating slots at the end stands to prevent overheating.•
Do not immerse the product, its cable of plug in water. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the •
product.
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.•
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous •
playing material for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, •
moisture,ammablegases,vapoursandsolvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.•
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it •
from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:

Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage •
the product.
(Rechargeable) batteries
Correct polarity must be observed while inserting the (rechargeable) batteries.•
(Rechargeable) batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period •
of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged (rechargeable) batteries might
cause acid burns when in contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle
corrupted (rechargeable) batteries.
(Rechargeable) batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave (rechargeable) •
batteries lying around, as there is risk, that children or pets swallow them.
All (rechargeable) batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new •
(rechargeable) batteries in the device can lead to (rechargeable) battery leakage and device
damage.

recharge non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

Installation4.
Remote control
Remove the battery cover at the back of the remote control1.
Insert two AAA batteries, observing the correct battery polarity. 2.

Position the device on a level and sturdy surface.1.
Connect the power adapter to a wall socket (100 - 240 V/AC, 50/60 Hz). Insert the plug to the 2.
power socket at the back of the device.
Operation5.
Playing preprogrammed messages
This device is preprogrammed with 23 messages in the library.
If no scrolling text is displayed, preprogrammed messages can not be set. Wait until
a scrolling text is displayed or press the button “Play” to start displaying the scrolling
text.
The range of the remote is 2 m.
To play the message stored in the inbuilt library, press LIBRARY followed by the library location
number, for example, 08 for “Cafe” or 22 for “Restaurant”.

Programming your own messages
You can save your own messages in one of the 10 memory hot keys or the banner location.
To enter text, press EDIT.1.
The last message will be displayed. To delete a word, press ERASE. To delete the entire 2.
message, press DOWN.
Use the alphanumeric keys to input your message. Press the same key quickly to advance 3.
through the characters. To use the same key again, wait one second.
To insert a library word or phrase, press LIBRARY then followed by the library location number.4.
To insert a space, press SPACE.5.
To change to upper or lower case, press SHIFT.6.
Once you have entered your message, press PLAY to check it. If you would like to amend it, 7.
press EDIT to change your message. You can press PLAY again to check it.
If you have completed entering your message, store it by pressing STORE, then followed by 8.

Your message is now stored and can be replayed any time by pressing the memory key.9.
Each memory location can hold up to 80 characters. The maximum memory capacity
of all messages cannot exceed 470 characters.

Playing messages
To play a message stored on a memory hot key: press M0 to M9.1.
To play messages stored in the library: press LIBRARY followed by the library location 2.
number.
To play the banner message, press BANNER3.
To play the current message continuously, press ONLY4.
To play mirrored messages, press MIRROR5.
Programming a sequence of messages
Up to 16 messages can be replayed in sequence from the memory, banner or library locations.
To program a sequence:
First clear all stored messages to ensure no unwanted messages are included. Press SETUP 1.
followed by ERASE.
Play messages from memory keys, banner or library locations in your preferred order.2.
To remove the last played message from the sequence, press ERASE.3.
Once you have played the sequence of messages, press PLAY once to play sequence once. 4.
Press PLAY twice to repeat the sequence continuously.
To turn off the message scroller, press CANCEL.5.
To save the message sequence for next start up, press SETUP and then STORE.6.
