Connecting the power supply

In parallel to the power supply, we recommend that you install the electrolytic C1 capacitor – it is
better to use larger capacities, respectively, according to the loads. Let’s say that you want to
work with full power. In that case, it would be best to use 10'000μF / 50V. The rated voltage of
the capacitor should be higher than the power supply by +20….30%. For example, if you work
with 12V, the capacitor voltage should be 16V or higher. We also recommend using an F1 fuse.
Although we have tried to put as many protections as possible, still a fuse or mechanical fuse is
the most reliable protection. You can also select the current strength of the fuse depending on
the range of the maximum current you will be using. Let’s say that you know you use up to 10A.
In that case, use a 15…20A fuse, but no more than 30A per one PS board.
