ENG INSTALLATION Choose a suitable location for your device. The permanent temperature of the location should not be lower than 5°C and not higher than 50°C. Protect the device from moisture and humidity. Ensure that your device will not get loose during the drive and hurt someone in the passenger cabin. Use therefor the included mounting brackets (4 x) and screws (8 x). Then use self-tapping screws (not included) from the specialist trade, to fix the device in your vehicle.
QUARTBASS ENG INTERCONNECTION PROTECTION CIRCUIT If the POWER LED ( 4 ) lits up, the device is in normal operation. If the PROTECT LED ( 3 ) lits up, the device is overheated. If this occurs, the internal built-in protection circuit shuts down the device automatically. The device should work again properly after cooling down. AUDIO SIGNAL CABLES Connect the audio signal cables from the RCA outputs of the head unit to the RCA inputs on the device ( 1 ).
ENG OPERATING ELEMENTS INPUT SENSITIVITY Turn the volume controller of your head unit to the center medium position and then turn up the INPUT LEVEL controller ( 2 ) until you have an average medium level without distortion. This setting usually provides sufficient power reserves at optimum weighted signal-to-noise ratio. LOWPASS FILTER Set the desired crossover frequency of the low pass filter by using the LOW PASS controller ( 4 ).
ENG QUARTBASS TROUBLE SHOOTING If you are having problems after installation follow the trouble shooting procedures below. Procedure 1: Check the device for proper connections. Verify that POWER LED is on. If POWER LED is on skip to Step 3, if not continue. 1. Check the fuse of the device or the external fuse on battery positive cable. Replace if necessary. 2. Verify that Ground connection is connected to clean metal on the vehicle’s chassis. Repair/replace if necessary.

QUARTBASS DEU INSTALLATION Wählen Sie einen geeigneten Standort für Ihr Gerät aus. Die permanente Temperatur des Standortes sollte nicht unter 5° C und nicht über 50° C liegen. Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit und Nässe. Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich Ihr Gerät während der Fahrt nicht löst und jemanden in der Passagierkabine verletzt. Verwenden Sie dazu die mitgelieferten Montagehalter (4 x) und Schrauben (8 x).
DEU ANSCHLÜSSE SCHUTZSCHALTUNG Die POWER LED ( 4 ) leuchtet auf, wenn das Gerät betriebsbereit ist. Die PROTECT LED ( 3 ) leuchtet auf, wenn das Gerät überhitzt ist. Wenn dies eintritt, schaltet die integrierte Schutzschaltung das Gerät automatisch aus und sollte nach dem Abkühlen wieder funktionieren. AUDIOSIGNALKABEL Anschluss des Audiosignalkabels der Cinch-Ausgänge vom Steuergerät bzw. Autoradio an den Cinch-Eingängen des Geräts ( 1 ).
QUARTBASS DEU BEDIENELEMENTE EINGANGSEMPFINDLICHKEIT Die Eingangsempfindlichkeit kann an jedes Steuergerät angepasst werden. Stellen Sie die Lautstärke des Steuergeräts zunächst auf einen mittleren Pegel ein und stellen Sie dann die Eingangspegelregler ( 2 ) ) am Verstärker so ein, dass sich eine mittlere, durchschnittliche Lautstärke ohne Verzerrungen ergibt. Hierbei sind in der Regel genügend Leistungsreserven bei optimalem Signalrauschabstand vorhanden.
DEU FEHLERBEHEBUNG Falls Sie nach dem Einbau Probleme haben, befolgen Sie die nachfolgenden Verfahren zur Fehlerbeseitigung: Verfahren 1: Das Gerät auf ordnungsgemäße Anschlüsse überprüfen. Prüfen Sie, ob die POWER LED aufleuchtet. Leuchtet die POWER LED auf, bei Schritt 3 weitermachen, falls nicht, hier weitermachen. 1. Die Sicherung am Gerät oder die externe Sicherung überprüfen und nach Bedarf ersetzen. 2. Überprüfen Sie, ob der Masseanschluss korrekt angeschlossen ist.
