INTERMITTENT REAR WIPER RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the trunk side trim. (See S92 TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION)
3. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

INTERMITTENT REAR WIPER RELAY INSPECTION

1. Connect the connector to the intermittent rear wiper relay.
2. Connect the negative battery cable.
3. Measure the voltage at the intermittent rear wiper relay using voltmeter.
• When inspecting terminal D for continuity, disconnect the intermittent rear wiper relay connector.
4. If the value are not as specified in the Terminal Voltage List (Reference), inspect the parts under Action and
related wiring harnesses.
5. If the system does not work properly even though the parts or related wiring harnesses do not have any
malfunction, replace the intermittent rear wiper relay.
