§2 Controls At A Glance m Features may vary according to model. Step Select Cycle Auto Dry EASY CARE/PERMANENT PRESS with Press Care is designed for perm£ nent press or man-made fabrics such as acrylic, nylon, polyester or blends. It minimize wrinkling by providing an extended cool down period by tumbling the load in unhea ed air at the end of the cycle. Simply set the control to the desired dryness level (moi dry - less dry).
Note: The dial can be turned in either direction to select a cycle. Once started, the dial will not advance at a specific rate during the Auto Dry cycles. At first the dmlmay not advance at all. Toward the end of the cycle (when the load begins to dry) the dial will advance at a more regular rate and much more quickly. This is normal operation. Auto Dry REGULAR is designed for loads such as towels, underwear, t-shirts, jeans, etc. Set the control to the desired dryness level (more dry less dry).
Care and Cleaning Control Panel - clean with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive substances. Cabinet - wipe off any marks with soap and water. Use an appliance wax once a year if desired. Tumbler - remove any stains (such as cray on, ink pen or fabric dye) with an all purpose cleaner. Then tumble old towels or rags to remove any excess stain or cleaning sub stance. Dryer Exhaust System - should be inspected and cleaned once a year to maintain optimum perfor mance.
;Ol Drying Rack Installation Instructions (Found in select models or purchased separately from your dealer using part # MAL1000AXX.) The drying rack allows you to dry items that you don’t want to tumble dry; for example, sneakers, washable sweaters, stuffed toys or pillows, etc. The rack remains stationary, but the drum rotates. (Make sure nothing hangs over the edges of the rack.) To Use Rack: 1. Open dryer door. 2. Position drying rack in tumbler with the two exten sion wires toward you.
