• The appliance and its individual shutoff valve
must be disconnected from the gas supply piping
system during any pressure testing of the gas sys- GASSUPPLYPIPING

• The appliance must be isolated from the gas sup-
ply piping system by closing its individual manual i_1
shutoff valve during any pressure testing of the MANUAL

tion. The sediment trap shall be either a tee fitting with a CAP VALVE
capped nipple in the bottom outlet or other device recognized
as an effective sediment trap. Ira tee fitting is used, it shall be
installed in conformance with one of the methods of installa-

Connecting the gas piping to the gas control valve of the
