To get you started, Maycom supplied a copy of the free multilingual audio editor Audacity on the CD-Rom.
You can install it by selecting “Install Windows Application” from the CD-Rom menu.
Audacity is an easy-to-use audio editor and recorder for Windows (and other operating systems).
Features of Audacity:
Record and edit 16-bit, 24-bit, and 32-bit (floating point) samples at up to 96 KHz.
Dub over existing tracks to create multi-track recordings.
Level meters can monitor volume levels before, during, and after recording.
