Ceiling Light Installation Guide

• Risk of electric shock - Disconnect power at fuse or
circuit breaker before installing or servicing.
• Installation should be performed only by a qualified
electrician
• Do not make or alter any holes in the wiring enclosure or
modify any electrical componentry.
• Install only in environments ranging between -4F and
+104F.
CAUTIONS
• To ensure personal safety, proper grounding of the
electrical fixture is required.
• The fixture must be wired in accordance with the National
Electric Code and applicable local codes or ordinances.
• Suitable for dry and wet indoor and outdoor locations,
use only 120VAC, 60Hz circuits.
WARNINGS
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Shut o power at the circuit breaker or fuse
before installation.
2. If you are replacing an existing xture, remove
and disconnect the old xture rst.

Junction Box Mounting:
3. Expose the existing wires from the junction box.
4. Connect the green and bare copper or green wires
together then secure both ends of the bracket
to the junction box using the provided
screws. See Figure1.
5. Connect black (hot) wires together. Connect
the white (neutral) wires together using the provided
wire nuts. See gure 2.
6. Ensure the wires are placed properly within the
junction box.
7. Secure the xture to the mounting bracket.

8. The installation is complete. Restore power to the
xture and verify the xture operates properly.
Retrot Mounting for 5in and 6in housings:
3. Remove the green grounding wire from the
bracket and attach the bracket to the light xture.
See Figure 4
4. Attach springs to both sides of the mounting
bracket using the provided screws. Ensure the springs
are attached to the correct locations as shown in
gure 5 and gure 6
5. Make sure the socket is accessible. Screw the E26
connector into the socket inside the can. Then connect
the black (hot) wires together and connect the
white (neutral) wires together using the provided wire
nuts. See gure 7
6. Bend the springs together and place inside
designated latches inside of the can. See Figure 8
7. Secure xture up into the can until ush with the
ceiling. See gure 9
8. The installation is complete. Restore power to the
xture and verify the xture operates properly.
