Installation Instructions
Disconnect power during installation and before servicing. Wear gloves to prevent
cuts/abrasions from sharp edges when removing from carton, handling, and maintaining
this fixture.
WARNING:
This fixture must be wired in accordance with the National Electric Code and applicable
local codes or ordinance.
If you are unfamiliar with proper electrical wiring connections obtain the services of a
qualified electrician.
To insure personal safety, proper grounding is required (connect green fixture wire to
supply ground).
SAFETY:
Read all instructions carefully before attempting installation.
Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no
parts are missing by referencing the illustrations on the installation instruction.
INSTALLATIONS (Disconnect power per WARNING):
1. Separate the iron ring (#14) and the acrylic cover (#13) from the base plate by unscrewing
three column nuts (#15) with hands.
2. Pull out all three power supply wires (#2#3#6) from outlet box (#1).
3. Mount the linear mounting bracket (#9) on the outlet box (#1) by screws (#10).
4. Make the wiring connections by rotatable connectors (#7).
Connect white fixture wire (#5) to white supply wire (#3)
Connect black fixture wire (#4) to black supply wire (#2)
Connect fixture ground wire (#8) to the house ground wire (#6) from the outlet box (#1).
If house wiring includes no ground wire, consult electrician.
5. Put all three pairs of connected wires into the outlet box (#1).
6. Mount base plate (#11) to the linear mounting bracket (#9) by screws (#12).
7. Tighten the acrylic cover (#13) and iron ring (#14) onto the base plate (#11) by column
nuts (#15).
