IT IS RECOMMENDED that you follow these steps to protect the internal seals of the pressure washer
when storing the unit for more than 30 days and/or when freezing temperatures are expected:
Obtain a funnel, six ounces of RV anti-freeze and approximately 36 inches of garden hose
with a male hose connector on one end.
Use ONLY RV anti-freeze. Any other type is corrosive and can damage the pressure pump.
Connect 36 inch length of garden hose to the water inlet of the pressure pump.
Add RV anti-freeze using the funnel.
Make sure the engine’s ON/OFF switch is OFF. Slowly pull the engine starter cord several
times until anti-freeze comes out of the pressure hose connection of the pressure pump.
DO NOT start the engine at this time.
Remove the hose from the water inlet of the pressure pump.
PRESURE WASHER
Cover the pressure washer with a suitable cover that does not retain moisture such as a piece of
plastic or a plastic tarp.
Store the pressure washer in a clean and dry area.
Certain storage covers can be flammable or can melt in higher temperatures. Do not place storage
cover over the pressure washer unit until it has completely cooled.
PREPARING FOR USE AFTER STORAGE
Slowly pull the starter cord as few times to clean the oil from the cylinder or to eject any anti-
freeze from the pump which was added prior to the storage.
Remove the spark plug from the cylinder. Wipe oil from the spark plug and return it to the
cylinder and retighten.
Reconnect the spark plug wire.
