LOW IDLE
This generator is equipped with a LOW IDLE Switch
(Fig. 1). Engaging this switch allows the system to regulate the
engine speed and automatically adjust its fuel consumption to
match the required load. When the electrical load changes, the
generator engine will automatically speed up and slow down as
needed. This reduces fuel consumption and noise levels, while ex-
tending runtime and engine’s lifespan.

Keep this switch engaged ONLY when the power load requirement is LESS THAN 75% of the
rated watts. Do not engage the switch when the total load is more than 75% of the rated watts.
The generator engine must run at full speed to supply power for anything over 75% of the rated
watts.
