is required as and when deliveries are made, for instance. The Digispec is not bound to straight line detection
(like most other technologies e.g. IR Beam Barriers used in PIR and Microwave Motion Detectors).

Video Motion Detectors (VMD’s) provide instant alarm verification by
providing an alarm to security personnel and/or recording device, thus
allowing for a quick and appropriate response.
VMD systems can drastically reduce installation costs as there’ll be no need
to install cabling over vast distances or use some type of wireless link when
used in conjunction with existing CCTV systems.
A single camera can protect a large area and can be selective in its
detection in that area. With the use of "masking" (selecting only a part or
parts of the video scene that the VMD will protect, ignoring activity in the
unmasked portions), the VMD ignores unprotected areas. The VMD can
discriminate between multiple zones created on one camera view with
independent target sizes and movement. The system can be extremely
sensitive, down to a single pixel of video or coase to detect large vehicles,
ships or airplanes. pix
