1.2 Don’ts
Do not open the cover of the UPS or the battery cabinets under any
circumstances. All UPS panels and doors should be closed.
Do not insert any objects through the ventilation holes.
Do not put objects on the UPS.
Do not move the UPS while it is operating.
Do not use the UPS outdoors.
Do not turn the UPS upside down during transportation.
Do not connect or disconnect the cable to the battery cabinet before the
battery circuit breaker is turned OFF.
Do not turn ON the battery circuit breaker when the battery cabinet is
disconnected from the UPS.
Do not install next to any gas or electrical heaters. A restricted location is
recommended in order to prevent access by unauthorized personnel.
CAUTION – GROUND CONNECTION ESSENTIAL BEFORE CONNECTING
SUPPLY
Connect the UPS to ground before connecting it to the AC supply.
CAUTION - WARNING - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! DO NOT REMOVE
COVER!
Do not remove the UPS cover. There are no user serviceable parts
inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
CAUTION - WARNING - RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Attention service personnel: Capacitors store hazardous energy. Do
not remove cover until 5 minutes after disconnecting all AC and DC
sources of supply. Do not remove the UPS cover. There are no user
serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service
personnel.
