9. Save the configuration by
selecting File, Save.
10. Extra functionality is added to the RTU using firmware drivers.
Drivers include Modbus, DNP3, SMS paging, AGA calculations and many more. A driver listing
(protocols.pdf) is available from www.cse-semaphore.com/mykingfisher.
Standard drivers are available from the website and can be downloaded by selecting Utilities, Advanced,
Download Firmware Driver.
11. Download the configuration
file (Filename.SDB) into the local
RTU using Configuration,
Download RTU Configuration.
If asked “Configure local or
network RTU?” select Local
When asked “Download Ladder
Logic now?" select No (there
isn't any ladder logic yet!)
12. Ladder logic is used to add
more intelligence to the RTU.
Basic RTU configurations that
have ladder logic are available
from www.cse-
semaphore.com/mykingfisher.
