5. Backup Battery Calculations
This chapter allows the size of the backup battery to be determined depending on how long the LP-2/3 is
required to run without an active supply (from mains or solar).
A 12.0 VDC power supply was connected to the battery input terminals on the LP-2/3 (version 1.3b PCB)
and the current draw for each hardware setup was measured.
