Utilities - Download MC Firmware
Firmware in MC modules can be upgraded to add new features and enhancements.
The firmware version that is running in an MC module can be determined from the hardware overview (View,
Hardware Overview) by selecting the button next to the MC module.
1. To download firmware to the
local MC module, connect to Port
1 of the MC module.
(Note: firmware cannot be
downloaded to a remote MC
module)
Caution! Do not connect to
the CP-10/11. Toolbox 32 allows
MC firmware to be downloaded
into a CP-10/11. If this has
occurred, please see the
previous topic - Recovering A
CP-10/11 After Downloading MC
Firmware.

2. Select Utilities, Advanced,
Download MC Firmware
3. Select the MC firmware file to
download and then select OK

4. While downloading firmware,
the Rx LED for Port 1 of the MC
module will stay on.
