CAUTION
To protect the original paint system on the Liftgate, a 3” wide area of paint
must be removed from all sides of the weld area before welding.

8. Tack weld side plate as shown in FIG. 14-1.

9. Remove clamps and the 2 angles.
10. Repeat 1 through 9 for the LH side plate.
