Additional Safety Cable Mounting Instructions:
NOTE: Safety cable not included and must be purchased separately. (Model: MLCHKLSV15)
The safety cable is meant for additional security and should not replace the mounting methods
listed above.
1. Remove the cable from the packaging and insert the non-looped end into the gripper provided (see Figure 1).
It is adjustable by pushing down on the end of the gripper where the cable was inserted.
2. Wrap the cable around a structural member and secure it by inserting the end of the cable through the loop at
the top of the cable (see Figure 2).
3. Insert the end of the cable through the other end of the gripper. Pull the cable through the gripper and tighten it
so that the fixture will not hang lower than it does with the mounting options (see Figure 3).
