orcarryingthetool.Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or 
energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
• Removeanyadjustingkeyorwrenchbeforeturningthepowertoolon.A 
wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in 
personal injury.
• Donotoverreach.Keepproperfootingandbalanceatalltimes.This enables 
better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
• Dressproperly.Donotwearlooseclothingorjewelry.Keepyourhair,clothing
andglovesawayfrommovingparts. Loose clothing, jewelry or long hair can be 
caught in moving parts.
• Ifdevicesareprovidedfortheconnectionofdust-extractionandcollection
facilities,ensurethattheseareconnectedandproperlyused.Use of these 
devices can reduce dust-related hazards.
POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
• Donotforcethepowertool.Usethecorrectpowertoolforyourapplication.
The correct power tool will do the job better and more safely at the rate for which 
it was designed.
• Donotusethepowertooliftheswitchdoesnotturnitonandoff.Any power 
tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnecttheplugfromthepowersourceand/orthebatterypackfromthe
powertoolbeforemakinganyadjustments,changingaccessories,orstoring
powertools.Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power 
tool accidentally.
• Storeidlepowertoolsoutofthereachofchildrenanddonotallowpersons
unfamiliarwiththepowertoolortheseinstructionstooperatethepowertool. 
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintainpowertools.Checkformisalignmentorbindingofmovingparts,
breakageofpartsandanyotherconditionthatmayaffectthepowertool’s

BATTERY TOOL USE AND CARE
• Rechargeonlywiththechargerspecifiedbythemanufacturer.A charger that 
is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with 
another battery pack.
• Usepowertoolsonlywithspecificallydesignatedbatterypacks.Use of any 
other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• Whenabatterypackisnotinuse,keepitawayfromothermetalobjects,such
aspaperclips,coins,keys,nails,screwsorothersmallmetalobjectsthatcan
makeaconnectionfromoneterminaltoanother.Shorting the battery terminals 
together may cause burns or a fire.
• Underabusiveconditions,liquidmaybeejectedfromthebattery;avoid
contact.Ifcontactaccidentallyoccurs,flushwithwater.Ifliquidcontacts
eyes,additionallyseekmedicalhelp.Liquid ejected from the battery may cause 
irritation or burns.
SERVICE
• Haveyourpowertoolservicedbyaqualifiedrepairpersonusingonlyidentical
replacementparts.This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR LITHIUM-ION CHARGER
• Beforeusingthebatterycharger,readallinstructionsandcautionarymarkingsin
this manual and on the battery charger. Also read all the instructions in the manuals 
for and the cautionary markings on the battery and the product using the battery to 
prevent misuse of the products and possible injury or damage.
• Donotusethechargeroutdoorsorexposeittowetordampconditions.Water
entering the charger will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Useofanattachmentnotrecommendedorsoldbythebattery-charger
manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Donotabusethecordorcharger.Neverusethecordtocarrythecharger.Donot
pull the charger cord to disconnect the plug from a receptacle. Damage to the cord 
or charger could occur and create an electric shock hazard. Replace damaged cords 
immediately.
