Use only extension cords that are intended for outdoor use. These extension
cords are identified by a marking Acceptable for use with outdoor appliances.

compatable with the rating of the product. Do not use damaged extension cords.
Examine the extension cord before using and replace if damaged. Do not abuse
extension cords, and do not yank on any cord to disconnect. Keep cord away from
heat and sharp edges. Always disconnect the extension cord from the receptacle
before disconnecting the product from the extension cord.
Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protection should be provided on the
circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the tile saw. Receptacles are available having
built-in GFCI protection and may be used for this measure of safety.
EXPLANATION OF THE TERMS USED IN THE INSTRUCTION
Through-sawing: sawing a workpiece into 2 separated parts.
Push-stick: a special stick that is used to push the workpiece towards the saw.
Freehand: hand without any protection such as gloves etc.
Kickback: a sudden reaction to a pinched or snagged rotating wheel, backing pad,
brush or any other accessory. Pinching or snagging causes rapid stalling of the
rotating accessory which in turn causes the uncontrolled power tool or workpiece
to be forced in the direction opposite of the accessory’s rotation at the point of the
binding.
