Please read all the information carefully to avoid injury and machine damage. This information
alerts you to potential hazards that could hurt you or others.
NOTE: General information is given throughout the manual that may help the operator in the
operation or service of the machine.
You will find important safety information in a variety of forms, including:
1. Safety labels – on the tillers
2. Safety messages – preceded by a safety alert symbol
⚠ and one of the three signal
words: DANGER, WARNING, OR CAUTION.
These signal words mean:
DANGER: You will be killed or seriously injured if you don’t follow instructions
WARNING: You can be killed or seriously injured if you don’t follow instructions.
CAUTION: You can be injured if you don’t follow instructions.
