General
This section deals with two goals, maximum life and
dependable operation. Adopt a regular maintenance
and lubrication program. Care and sufficient
lubrication is the best insurance against delays.
Safety
Always shut off the tractor and remove key before
dismounting.
Guard against hydraulic high pressure leaks with
hand and face protection.
Never work under the Implement unless it is in
the down position or transport lock pins are in
place and secured with hair pins. Do not depend
on the hydraulic system to support the frame.
Always wear safety goggles, breathing apparatus
and gloves when working on seeder filled with
chemical. Follow manufactures recommended
safety procedures when working with chemicals
or treated seeds.
Do not feed left over treated seed to livestock,
treated seed is poisonous and may cause harm
to persons or livestock.
Securely support any machine elements that
must be raised for service work.
CAUTION
Keep service area
clean and dry. Wet or
oily floors are
slippery. Wet spots
can be dangerous
when working with
electrical equipment.
