Interfacing to µPs with Bidirectional
Reset Pins
µPs with bidirectional reset pins (such as the Motorola
68HC11 series) can contend with push-pull RESET
outputs, resulting in indeterminate logic levels. Use the
MAX6808 with the open-drain RESET when interfacing
to this type of controller.
