The three ICUT_ bits (Tables 32a and 32b) allow pro-
gramming of the current-limit and overcurrent thresholds
in excess of the IEEE 802.3af standard limit. The
MAX5965A/MAX5965B can automatically set the ICUT
register or can be manually written to by the software
(see Table 3).
Class 1 and 2 limits can also be programmed by soft-
ware independently from the classification status. See
Table 3. A reset or power-up sets R2Ah = R2Bh = 00h.
