4.4.118 S121 – Answer Tone Qualify Time
(Default = 0)
The value of this register extends the answer tone qualification time beyond the 155ms minimum in 10ms
units. For example a value of 10 would yield a total answer tone qualification time of 255ms (100ms +
155ms).
4.4.119 S122 – Parallel Pick Up Debounce Timer
(Default = 0)
Sets the duration of the parallel pick debounce timer in 10ms increments.
4.4.120 S123 – Soft Ring Detect
(Default = 0)
This register controls the ri ng amplitude threshold and selects hardware or software ring detection.
Bit Map:
Bits 0-6 Ring Amplitude Detection Thresh old. Lowe r value detects lower amplitude ring signal.
Bit 7 1 = No frequency checking, enables Phonex operation .
0 = Frequency and amplitude checking, norm al operation.
Special Values:
S123 = 0 Disable soft ring detect, use hardware ring.
S123 = 255 Auto detect phonex mode, the modem will automatically detect an user phonex system
and configure itself accordingly.
S123 = 1-127 Force soft ring detection wi th frequency qualification for non-phonex operation.
Recommend value of 7 (or 2 for very Low Amplitude and Frequency detection).
S123 = 128-254 Force soft ring detection with no frequency qualification for phonex operation.
Recommend value of 170.
4.4.121 S124 – V23 Half Duplex Enable
(Default = 0)
Bit 0 Selects V.23, 1200 bps Half Duplex mode.
Bit 1-7 Reserved
