Operating your iDL300
iDL300 Front Panel
Stylus Actions
The stylus is the equivalent of a mouse on the iDL300. Use the stylus on the iDL300 touch-sensitive display. Only a plastic tipped stylus should be
used on the touch-sensitive display.
The Stylus actions apply to the iDL300 only.
SINGLE TAP OR SELECT: Tap the display screen once with the stylus to activate a specific button or select an item.
DOUBLE TAP: Tap the stylus twice rapidly in the same location to open an application.
TAP AND HOLD: Tap and hold the stylus to view the context menu (similar results to the „right-click‟ action with a PC-mouse).
Switching on the iDL300
To switch the iDL300 on, insert a charged battery into the iDL300. Hold the <POWER> button on the Front of the device down for one to two
seconds and release. A Blue LED to the right of the Fingerprint Reader will display while the device is starting up. The display backlight will turn on
and the iDL300 will then boot up displaying various boot-up sequence information. When the Microsoft ® Windows CE operating system is loaded
the LED to the right of the Fingerprint Reader will turn Blue.
From a complete shutdown state, the iDL300 takes approximately fifteen to thirty seconds to turn on and
load the operating system, after which a Microsoft ® Windows CE start-up sound will be heard. This
duration is depending on custom 3

party applications and configurations.
From a standby/suspend state, the iDL300 takes less than five seconds to turn on.
