Using the battery in your iDL300
Insert the battery into the iDL300
Insert the iDL300 battery as illustrated below.
It is recommended to Switch off the iDL300 before removing the batteries.
Before using the iDL300 for the first time the removable external batteries MUST be charged. The initial charging cycle for
the battery is approximately five (5) hours. Subsequent charging cycles will take up to three (3) hours.
Although the iDL300 supports a hot-swap function, using the normal Power down option before removing both batteries
will ensure that application data are stored safely. If the battery is removed from the iDL300 (for longer than just swapping
the battery) without it being powered down first normally, non-persistent application data will be lost.
