The iVDR Cipher Raid Towers are a perfect solution from Maxell for
applications that require reliable storage with redundancy and also the
best data security protection.
• Great for variety of storage applications – external storage, Video
storage, Server storage
• Connect to any system via eSATA (connecting cable included) or
USB port
• AES 256-bit full disk hardware encryption
• Install either iVDR-EX cartridges, 2.5" / 3.5” SATA hard drives, SSD
of any capacity or a combination of these devices in various mixes
• iVDR-EX cartridge support is added or removed via the iVDR drive
tray (part # 268000)
• Hard drives are installed into drive trays that can be added or
removed like tape from each drive bay
• Individual drive support only. Drives can be set to RAID group with
software utility from a PM compatible controller or from the OS
(eSATA port must be Port Multiplier compatible)
• Supported OS – Windows 2000 or later release, MAC OS X and
above, Linux kernel 2.4 and above
