Hot Keys

(Shortcut key combinations with special functions)

To activate the hot keys, press and hold down the Fn key and then press the desired ad

ditional key. For certain functions it may be necessary to install the Quick Button software.

Keys Meaning

Fn + F1 Switches to power saving mode

Fn + F2 Switches the wireless network (WLAN) on/off (only when the function is

activated using the respective quick button, see the next page).

Fn + F3 Switches between LCD display/monitor/both

Fn + F4 Reduces LCD brightness

Fn + F5 Increases LCD brightness

Fn + F6 Switches the loudspeaker on/off

Fn + F7 Reduces the volume

Fn + F8 Increases the volume

Fn + F9 Switches between Playback and Pause with the Microsoft

Windows

Media Player

Fn + F10 Stops the Microsoft

Windows

Media Player playback

Fn + F11 Switches to the previous track (Media Player)

Fn + F12 Switches to the next track (Media Player)

Fn + Esc Activates/deactivates the optional Bluetooth module (only when the

function is activated using the respective quick button, see the next

page).

Fn + Home Activates/deactivates the light sensor.
