1. Important Safety Precautions Reading the guidelines below will minimize the risk of misusing the phone. 8 Never use your phone in any area where the use of mobile phones is prohibited such as refueling points or hospitals. Using mobile phones in such places might expose others to danger. Do not switch on your phone if it might negatively interfere with other devices! Never use your phone without suitable accessories while driving.
Never repair or try to modify your phone by your own. Only qualified service is authorized to repair the phone. Use only original batteries and chargers. Use of any unauthorized accessories could damage your phone or might cause an explosion. LIQUID RESISTANCE – the phone is NOT water or liquid resistant. Keep your telephone dry at all times. 2. Getting Started Before switching on the phone, you need to correctly install the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Card.
Insert the SIM Card to the SIM slot, make sure the metal contacts are facing downwards. Make sure the cut corner is positioned toward the top of the phone. There is a spot for a MicroSD memory card above the SIM Card slot. Position the pin to the left, and then lift the pin. Insert MicroSD so that the MicroSD card contacts will touch the phone contacts; close the pin, and position it back to the right.
Be careful while using your memory cards, especially while installing and uninstalling them. Some memory cards must be formatted on a PC before the first use. Make backup copies of data stored on the cards used in other devices, if you use SD cards! Misuse or other factors might cause damage or loss of data stored on the cards. Insert the battery so that the contacts +/- will face into the phone. After inserting the battery, the battery cover should be placed back and slightly pushed to click into place.
2.2 Charging the Battery Note: Use only the original battery included in the set. Using unauthorized batteries could damage the phone and will void the Manufacturer’s warranty. Never plug in the charger, if the back cover is not in place. To charge the phone: 1. Plug one end of the charger into a power outlet. 2. Plug the other end of the charger into a jack located at the right hand side of the phone.

If the battery voltage is too low for your phone to work, a message will appear about expected power-off and then the phone will be automatically switched off. 4. Using the Telephone 4.1 Switching on the Phone Press and hold the red receiver/end call/power key to switch on the phone. If the message asking for the PIN code appears, you must enter your PIN. You can find the PIN in the SIM Card starter kit. Upon entering the code, press the green receiver key to confirm. Warning: If you enter an incorrect PIN three times in a raw your SIM Card will be locked. You might unlock your Card by entering the PUK code.

5. MENU To enter MENU press the UP key in the Idle mode. To navigate in MENU use the keys UP and DOWN. To confirm the selected option, press the green receiver/talk key. To return to the previous MENU (go back), press the red receiver key. To go into the Idle mode press and hold the red receiver key. 6. Phonebook 6.1 Saving New Contacts There are two ways to save a new Contact in the Phonebook: 1. You can save the number from the list of missed and received phone calls.
“Save”. By pressing the DOWN key, go the input text field for entering the phone number, press “Options”->”Edit” and enter the number. 6.3 Deleting Contacts 6.3.1 How to Delete a Single Contact If you want to delete a Contact from the phone or the SIM card, do as follows: 1. In MENU, select: Phonebook, 2. Highlight the Contact you wish to delete, and press „Options”->”Delete” 3. Press the green receiver to confirm. 6.3.2 How to Delete Multiple Contacts If you want to delete multiple Contacts from the phone or the SIM card, do as follows: 1. In MENU select: Phonebook->Options->Highlight Contacts 2.
6.4 Copying Contacts 6.4.1 How to Copy a Single Contact To copy a Contact from the SIM Card to the phone, or from the phone to the SIM Card, do as follows: 1. In MENU, select: Phonebook, 2. Select the Contact you wish to copy, 3. Press “Options”->”Copy”, and next select where you want to copy the Contact to, and press the green receiver key. 6.4.2 How to Copy Multiple Contacts To copy multiple Contacts from the SIM Card to the phone, or from the phone to the SIM Card, do as follows: 1.

6.7.2 Additional Numbers In MENU select Phonebook->Options->Settings->Add. Numbers->FDN to enable or disable the function of Fixed Dialing. 6.7.3 Memory Status This option allows you to check memory status on the SIM Card and the telephone. In MENU select: Phonebook->Options->Settings->Memory Status. 6.7.4 Preferred Memory It allows you to select a memory as a default location to save Contacts and a memory with visible Contacts.

To finish the phone call, press the red receiver. 7.2 Dialing Number from Phonebook In the Idle mode press the DOWN key to enter the Phonebook. Select the number by using the UP/DOWN keys. If you want to quickly find a Contact with a name starting with the letter for example U, press the 8 key twice. If you want to get connected with the selected Contact, press the green receiver key, and select Connect. 7.
7.5 Adjust the Call Volume While talking on the phone, press the key + or – located at the left hand side of the phone to adjust the call volume. 7.6 Options During a Call During a call, press Options to enable additional features: - Speakerphone: switches on/off the speakerphone, - Suspend: suspends a connection - End call: ends a phone call - Phonebook: allows to access the Phonebook e.
below: How to Enter, Delete, and Edit Emergency Contacts and User Information. 7.8 Emergency Calls If you have not assigned any emergency numbers yet, pressing and holding the emergency key will get you connected with the number 112. You can set four emergency numbers. Pressing and holding the emergency key (located in the back of the phone) will activate the emergency procedure.
7.8.1 How to Enter, Delete and Edit Emergency Contacts You can select up to 4 (four) Emergency Contacts. To quickly assign an Emergency Contact, enter the main MENU by pressing the UP key. Then, select->Emerg. Settings->ICE Contacts.
You can activate or deactivate sending the emergency texts in the Emergency Mode. To do so in MENU select: Emerg. Settings->Emerg. Message ->Status. 7.8.4 Deactivating Emergency Sound Alert You can activate/deactivate the emergency sound alert while making an emergency call. In order to do so, in MENU select: Emerg. Settings->Emerg. Alert 7.8.5 Emergency Voice Message If the message is enabled, and the emergency call is answered, the recipient will hear the message: „Emergency call, press 5”.
7.9 Answering Phone Calls To answer an incoming phone call, press the green receiver key. To reject an incoming phone call, press the red receiver key. To mute an incoming phone call, press the „+” or “-”keys. 8. Call Log To enter the Call Log, select the main MENU, select Call Log, and then select: Missed calls (to get missed phone calls displayed). If you miss a phone call, a receiver icon will appear at the top left side of the screen in the Standby Mode.
Note: To view Call Log, just press the green receiver key in the Standby Mode. Colorful symbols notify you about a type of phone calls.
Additionally, if there is an unread text message, a LED indicator flashes blue (if it is enabled). To enter MENU Text Messages, you should press the UP key in the Idle mode, and next select Messages->Inbox. When the inbox is full, the icon will go blinking. To solve the problem, delete messages out of the inbox. 9.1 Creating and Sending Text Messages 1. Enter MENU, and then select: Messages>Create Message->Text Message to enter a text editor, 2.

If you want to send a multimedia message, in MENU select: Messages->Create Message->MMS, type your message, press “Options” and select the content, and next select “Options” and “Send”. 9.2 Reading and Replying to Text Messages 1. If an unread message icon is displayed on the LED display or you want to read received messages, in MENU select: Messages->Inbox. To read a message, press “Options” and select „View”.
9.3 Advanced: allows you to use the number and the URL address. Text Message Boxes 9.3.1 Inbox It lists received messages, sorted by receipt date. To navigate within the inbox, use the UP & DOWN keys.
9.3.3 Drafts Unsent messages might be saved in „Drafts” folder. In order to do so, type the text message, and after pressing the green receiver key, select “Save”. Go to „Drafts” to send, delete, or edit saved messages. 9.3.4 Outbox If a text message fails to be sent, it will be saved in the Outbox. 9.4 Deleting Text Messages To delete a selected text message, enter Options and select “Delete”. 9.5 Message Settings Enter MENU and select: Messages->Settings, and next select: 9.5.

9.6 Voicemail Voicemail is a network service that allows callers to leave a voice message when you cannot answer the phone call. To learn more, contact your service provider. If you want to change your voicemail number in MENU select: Messages->Settings->Text Mssg->SIM->Voicemail and enter the number. You can get the voicemail number from your service provider. To get connected with the voicemail, all you have to do is to press the key 10. Extras 10.
To enter the first number, use the keys 0-9, next use navigation keys UP/DOWN to select an operation, and press “OK”, enter the second number, and press “OK” again. 10.3 Alarm Clock You can select five independent alarm clocks on the phone. In order to enable the alarm clock, in MENU select: Extras->Alarm Clock. Select the alarm tone and press “Edit”. You can enable/disable alarm, set alarm time, alarm tone, alarm type, and repeat. After selecting all options, highlight the time, and press “Save”.
10.5 Network Service 10.5.1 WAP A phone browser allows you to use various WAP services. The phone has preset settings of some service providers. To enable, in MENU select: Extras->Newtork Services->WAP->Settings->Data Account->select the right account and press OK. Because of LED display size, the web pages open in your phone might look different original sites. Some details might be lost or hard to see. To learn more about available services, rates, and manuals contact your service provider.
10.6 File Manager In MENU select: Extras->File Manager. Press the green receiver key [Options]: Open- select, to open a selected file. Format- to format a selected drive, Details After the folder gets open, upon pressing the left key there are the following options available: Open New Folder- to create a new folder in created location, Rename the file Delete: Delete a current folder. To open a given file, press the green receiver key [Options] and select View or Play.
To take a photo, press the 5 key. The photo is automatically saved. For more options, press the green receiver key.

Built-in memory is sufficient only for a short recording. To record a longer video, installation of MicroSD (it is not included in the set) is required. The Memory Card should be selected as the location to save videos: Options >Memory->Memory Card. Photos and videos captured by the phone might be exported to a computer. For more information please see chapter on PC Connections. 13.3 Video Player In MENU select: Multimedia->Video Player.
13.4 Audio Player Using the Audio Player, you can play recorded audio files. They must be stored in My Music folder. If there are new files recorded, after enabling the Audio Player select Options->Refresh List. To start or pause playing, press the # key. If you don’t want files to be played in the background, stop the playing by pressing the # key, before you switch off the player. To navigate between recordings, use the UP and DOWN keys.
14. Settings In MENU select: Settings, and then select: 14.1 Profiles The telephone has several profiles you can select to adjust your phone to various circumstances. You can enable or customize each profile. There are 4 profiles available: General, Silent, Meeting, Outdoor. In each profile, by using the option: Adjust, you can change: - Call Alert type (ringtone only, vibration only, etc.
14.2 Telephone Settings 14.2.1 Setting Date and Time To set the Date and Time, in MENU select: Settings>Phone Settings->Time & Date. Select „Time Zone” to set the required location, and select „Set Time/Date” to enter the time and date. To move between date and time, use the UP/DOWN keys. To enter the date and time, use the keys 0-9. You can also set Time Format (12h or 24h), Date Format (DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY or YYYY/MM/DD).

You also might change your PIN. 14.7.2 Telephone Security You can enable the phone lock.
15. PC Connections You can connect the phone to a computer via a USB cable, and you can copy and transfer files from/to the phone and to/from the computer.
