The following fields can be edited on the SSH Configuration Edit page:
Edit Field Description
Protocol V1 Allows the receivers SSH server to communicate using V1 of the SSH protocol.
Protocol V2 Allows the receivers SSH server to communicate using V2 of the SSH protocol.
Server Port Enter the Port that the SSH server will be communicating with. The default port is 22, (which is
standard for SSH) but it is configurable.
Allow <account>
Login
These fields allow you to configure the available users that are authorized to use SSH. SSH
under user monitor is the default.
Samba
This submenu allows you to configure the Samba File Sharing within the receiver. Samba is a program in the receiver
that allows end users on other nodes on the LAN to access and use files on the receiver’s hard drive. Generally,
folders on the receiver’s hard drive are shared so that other PC’s on the LAN can access them through Windows. The
Samba Configuration submenu allows you to setup the basic Samba configuration and an advanced configuration.
You must a thorough knowledge of Samba to use the advanced setup menus. The Samba Configuration page similar
to Figure 2- 72 will be displayed when the submenu item is selected.
