recommended that you leave your receiver in auto negotiate when interfacing with a Windows PC. The Ethernet
Configuration page similar to Figure 2- 63 will be displayed when the submenu item is selected. In the example
shown, the 3
rd
Ethernet Option has been installed.

Aside from the Common Menu Items, the following menu items are available:
Menu Item Description
Show Selecting this button will always return you back to the Ethernet Configuration page, as shown
in Figure 2- 63. The speed and duplex settings for each Ethernet port will always be displayed
here. If the port is in auto negotiate mode, then the currently negotiated speed and duplex will
be displayed.
Edit Selecting this button will enter the Ethernet Configuration Edit page, as shown in Figure 2- 64.
The edit fields on this page are described below the figure.
The following fields can be edited on the Ethernet Configuration Edit page, Figure 2- 64:
Edit Field Description
Interface This column lists all the Ethernet interfaces that are available in the receiver. The edit page
works like a matrix, where you can make one configuration selection for each port.
<Speed and Duplex> Select auto negotiate, or a forced speed and duplex combination. Only one selection per
Ethernet port can be made. Selecting a specific speed and duplex combination will disable auto
negotiation.
NOTE:
You may have
to reboot the
receiver in
order for a new
Ethernet port
setting to take
effect.
